Alison’s Organics / Riverview Orchard

Alison’s Organics was founded in 2022 in order to carry on the legacy of Riverview Orchard Nut Butters. Riverview Orchard started back in 1980 and has gained a loyal following in local, independently and cooperatively owned grocers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding cities. If you shop in the bay area, you probably have been seeing the Riverview Orchard Brand on the shelves at Rainbow Grocery, Berkeley Bowl, Monterey Market, Bi-Rite, or Farmer Joes for the past 4 decades!

Since the acquisition of Riverview Orchard, I spent 2 years traveling to Orland, CA every week to work closely with Hendrik Feenstra (founder of Riverview Orchard), to ensure that the product and quality remains exactly the same. I have since moved into a kitchen in Diamond Springs, CA to manufacture these products in my local community and am happy to say that the product is better than ever!

The nut butters are made using the highest quality organic almonds from California, and organic hazelnuts from Oregon. The farms that I work with are certified organic with sustainable and regenerative practices. My nut butter are packaged in glass containers, and my nut products are packaged in fully compostable and reusable bags!
